Ida Maria (full name Ida Maria Børli Sivertsen, b. July 13th 1984) is an indie rock/punk artist from Nesna, Norway, currently living in Sweden. Her first album, Fortress Round My Heart, was released in Norway and the UK on May 5th, 2008.
Ida Maria won Zoom Urørt in 2006 and the Urørt-competition in 2007 (both are Norwegian competitions for unsigned artists) and played some of Norway`s biggest festivals. In 2007 she also won Alarmprisen (Norwegian music awards).

The last original song from my debut EP "Momentum". It is the production Im most happy with, the mixing and mastering sounds smooth on this one! It also has a great mix of genres, it got some alternative rock, folk, emo, indie, acoustic, singer songwriter feels. Hope this makes your endorphines or whatever feelings you need right now to pop out.

I Can Stay
I Can Stay is one of my new songs from my debut EP "Momentum".
I played all the instruments, sang, produced it, mixed/mastered etc myself.
I think its an improvement production vise and has a more down to earth feel then for example my song "All The Love".
It has that vibe of melancholy as well as upbeat, kinda labeled as acoustic indie rock with a touch of emo (vocal vise).
But yeh, enough with the jibber jabber, most importantly, does.. it.. slap?
